چکیده

Abstract Rolling is a well-established forming process employed in many industrial sectors. Although highly optimized, disruptions can still lead to undesired final mechanical properties. This paper demonstrates advances pass schedule design based on reinforcement learning and analytical rolling models guarantee sound product quality. Integrating an established physical strengthening model into allows tracking the microstructure evolution throughout process, furthermore prediction of yield strength ultimate tensile rolled sheet. The trained algorithm Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG) automatically proposes schedules by drawing upon scheduling rules combined with novel rule sets maximize designed trialed using laboratory mill while predicted properties are confirmed micrographs materials testing. Due its fast calculation time, prospectively this technique be extended also account for significant such as longer inter-pass times adapting online reach desired avoid scrapping material.

A Roll Wear Prediction Model in Hot Plate Rolling

In this paper, the wear of work roll in hot plate rolling is introduced and the parameters affecting wear mechanisms in hot strip mill are investigated. In addition, different wear mechanisms in hot rolling and the differences between these mechanisms in different stands are explained. Using the finite element method and the rolling equations, a work roll wear model is proposed. Wear is modeled...

Coupling of Rolling Tachyon to Closed Strings

We study the late time behavior of the boundary state representing the rolling tachyon constructed by Sen. It is found that the coupling of the rolling tachyon to massive modes of the closed string grows exponentially as the system evolves. We argue that the description of rolling tachyon by a boundary state is valid during the finite time determined by string coupling, and that energy could be...
